Hi, my name is Morgan Salén and I am an internationally certified mountain guide that really enjoys being out and about in the mountains, both summer and winter.
I just in general are trying to have as much fun up in the mountains as possible, while staying safe and finding the best snow to ski or the nicest route to climb.
Originally from Sweden but I have been spending most of my time in France or Norway since I was 20. I came to Chamonix the first time in the autumn of 2007. People warned me that "watch out so you don´t get stuck. It have happened to a lot of people." Years later I still spend a big part of the year in this unique place.
The skiing and climbing you can reach by taking the lift up is just amazing. After a few years in Chamonix I entered the Swedish mountain guide program. Past that one as the youngest swede to reach IFMGA status.
The last years I´ve been spending the springs up in Norway. Guiding skiing among the fjord landscape. Needs to be experienced. The first part of the winters and the bigger part of the summer are being spent in the alps.
Since the autumn of 2018 I am also pursuing a degree in medicin. So winters are being skipped every second year to give me the chance to actually finish that.
The winter, spring and summer of 2020 are being spent in Chamonix full time.
